Kenn became a fan of Rick Derringer early in his childhood while growing up in New Jersey. He was intensely drawn into Rick's music because of the heartfelt vibe, groove, and relatable lyrics on each song. Eventually, Kenn went on to successfully perform with his own band through the 1980's, touring extensively for more than 2,000 shows. Kenn then accomplished the duties of drums, vocals, writing partner, and tour manager performing and recording for Grammy Award winner Buddy Miles from 1994 - 2000. In 2001, Kenn joined Deodato (Kool & The Gang, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Earth Wind and Fire, 500 releases and countless Grammy Awards), and continues presently working closely whenever time permits. When off tour, Kenn is busy branding and arranging future projects for Rick Derringer, and produces at Songhouse Productions Studios in New Jersey.
